Kayla was a very optimistic child. Always wanting to explore new things, and lets not forget chasing after bunnys in our front yard. She attended school at Nativity Of our Lord Catholic School along with her best friends Kelly, Abigail, and Janice. When Kayla was only in 5th grade she was diagnosed with Leukemia. She held on as hard as she could up until March of 2011 when she fell. She was and forever will be the light that shines to keep us moving forward as "the strongest person I knew!"
